Cycling is an enjoyable outdoor activity, there are risks when cycling and riding on trails, unmade terrain increases the chances of an accident through loss of control.
Please ride well within your capability and that of the bike. We ask you to follow the Mountain Biking code of conduct recommended by Cycling UK and published on their website. This can be shown to you if you do not have access to it.
After every ride the bike is inspected, cleaned and checked over at the shop. We still ask you to inspect the bike yourself and familiarise with the controls and riding position before you leave our premises. Our staff will be happy to assist with adjusting the bike and explaining controls. You are welcome to test ride and return for adjustments
The Hirer is responsible for the bike and the equipment and will be liable for any loss, theft or damage to the bike or equipment through the agreed hire term. We will expect you read and sign a waiver which we will keep on file.
ID – We require a form of photographic ID to be left at the shop whilst the bike is in your possession. If you do not have any ID you can’t take the bike. Acceptable forms of ID are current driving license or passport, all rentals are at the discretion of the shop staff.
Payment – for hire is due at the point of booking. Late returns will be charged at £20 per hour rounded up to the next full hour. If you have an issue or delay please notify us before becoming overdue.
Deposit/Damage – We don’t take a deposit for the bikes when out on hire, but you are responsible for the bike and therefore and damage, theft or loss in your possession will be charge at cost price plus labour to repair.
Security – bikes must not be left unattended at any time unless locked securely. Overnight hire is not permitted on any equipment. You are not permitted to take the bikes away from The Surrey Hills without prior authorisation.

Bikes – We have varied models of Full suspension Bikes, Full suspension E bikes and some hard tail bikes (with only front suspension). Please note the booking image is a stock image. It may vary from this.
Cancellations with over one week notice will incur a 5% charge, unfortunately we are not able to refund cancellations within one week of the booking start. However, we know things don’t always work out so give us a call or email and we can usually move the booking to another day without charge at our discretion.
Helmets are mandatory with the hire of a bike, if you do not have one you will be required to accept one as part of the hire agreement. No bike will be hired without a helmet (either your own or hired).
If you have any questions, please ask the staff on hand. If you are unsure of anything on the bike please ask before you set off.
Riding the local trails and bridleways is an enjoyable experience, we want you to feel safe and have as much fun as possible.
